Frist Center for the Visual Arts.
Artworks is a program aimed at teens considering careers in the Cultural Arts by connecting them to people working in the Arts and giving career information about the Arts. While staying with the Art Direction of the other teen programs logos of the Frist Center which involves Slab-Serf type, bold simple logomark, and bold simple colors. The logo must be appealing to the audience, have a sense of fun, and convey the nature(s) of working in the Cultural Arts.
I felt conveying creativity is one of the best ways to represent the Arts. The “Creative Process Cog” logo is representing the creative process of the artist with the playful shapes on the top and the cog on the bottom, but because of this the logo has a dual nature representing the balance between being creative and productive both are necessary traits for careers in the Cultural Arts.
